a break through decision

Debarati, a friend of mine, was doing her postgraduation on biochemistry. but at the end of their 1st semester, she leaved it. she said, she's not willing to work hard on something she doesn't find interesting and moreover she wants to start earning soon. so now she's preparing for CAT and wants to be an MBA.

well, I don't know whether this is a wise ecision or a stupid one. I only know that she got the toper's subject leaving it was harder than getting it.yet she took the decision. all the best for ur future, debarati.

sometimes I also wish to do other things. apart from my field ..... i want to help a distressed soul or to bring smile to a sad face..I love counselling people and entertaining them. I'd love to do part time job in an NGO or to be a freelance writer..... but i don't have the courage.......

so my world is still governed by DNA, RNA, Protein, Chlorophylls and other equally boring things.

Hehe...i feel exactly the same abt my course...that m not made for journalism...in fact i wish i was an astronaut or something! Guess its human nature...we just arnt satisfied with what we have! :)

Oh by the way, no offence, but u made a li'l grammatical error in the 1st para...its nt 'leaved' bt 'left'. Sorry man bt its my very annoying habit to correct people's mistakes!

Take care

hey...
hmmm...i think it's a wise decision, cos i totally agree on why she thought of while leavin dat subject for smthin else, tht might benefitted her more than where her interests lies...
my dad insisted me on pickin up law,cos of my debatin skill, but i opted for journalism..jst wanted to write,n see diff phases n sides of a human being...
i love observin things..
i only wish i cud sit on a bench, observe the ppl passin me by n sketch n photograph images, dat i feel is evokin beauty or somethin more meaninful.."WISHFUL THINKIN"
but then there's smthin called"earnin"..an economic reason to be alive in this world, wich none of us can aviod...

I too did something similar when I was pursuing my first Masters Degree. And I don't regret the decision and feel that your friend wouldn't too.

Whether it is wrong or right, it's relative...it depends mostly on how one carry it forward.

I think I am not wrong, irrespective of what the result is untill and unless I take the responslibility.
